FOR TODAY
Outside my window... it is warm and sunny with a slight breeze.
I am thinking... about the fact that I haven't set foot outside the house all day. This is Not Good.
I am thankful... for friends who come to visit with their little one for lunch. Especially since she brought yummy homemade chocolate brownie.
In the kitchen... I made Spanish Omelette for lunch, which has disappeared now, and biscuits (butterscotch biscuits and gluten-free almond biscuits) for housegroup this evening. For dinner tonight I'm doind Burmese Spiced Fish with Coconut.
I am wearing... beige skirt and green t-shirt.
I am creating... working on my sock knitting - finished the first sock of the pair and started the second the other day.
I am going... blackberrying with a friend tomorrow.
I am wondering... whether I've got time to squeeze a short walk in this afternoon before I have to start on the dinner.
I am reading... just finiahed Mariana by Monica Dickens, which I loved, but I couldn't work out if the ending was resolved. Did her husband die in the war or not?
I am hoping... that the vegetable box arrives soon so I can do the menu plan for next week.
I am looking forward to... the aforementioned blackberrying tomorrow, and a quilters meeting on Friday morning.
Around the house... it's not too bad. The kitchen descends into anarchy regularly, but mostly things are ok.
I am pondering... the Sunday School lessons I'm trying to plan, and also the one-day holiday club I'm supposed to be thinking about.
A favorite quote for today... And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romas 8:28
One of my favorite things... eating with friends.
A few plans for the rest of the week: since we're half way through the week already, there's not much other than what I mentioned earlier. Greg's doing some "dragon boat racing" on Saturday, though I'm not too sure what that really is.

Hi, just saying hello from sunny (?) Manchester! It's nice to find a fellow Brit here in blogland :)
I enjoyed your daybook entry and your vegetable box looks interesting. I love fresh veg like that - the meal ideas can't help but bubble up when you see something like that :)
Best wishes - Pam
I enjoy your blog!
